Senate Bill Report

The wolf dog, like many other breeds, is a misunderstood breed.  I think Farley Mowat said it best when he penned %u201CWe have doomed the Wolf not for what it is, but for what we have deliberately and mistakenly perceived it to be.. the mythologized epitome of a savage, ruthless killer.. which is, in reality no more than a reflexed image of ourself."  The reality that is the wolf dog is an incredible, sensitive, intelligent, compassionate, loving companion.  To punish those of us who do take great pride in our animal relationships and do the responsible thing in securing proper containment, socializing, training, loving, and having these wonderful animals in our lives is not fair in any respect.  Those of us that have or have had a wolf dog in our lives, for one reason or another, they have made us better for having known them.  To end the possibility of continuing to have them in our lives doesn%u2019t do justice to anyone.
