Mismanagement on the part of animal owners dates back before you, the reader were born, but the result today is that we must kill (euthanize) millions of cats and dogs, kittens and puppies, for no other reason than the fact that they were born! ALL LIFE on planet EARTH comes " PROGRAMMED TO PROPAGATE", and ONLY we humans have a conscience choice in the matter, so we have a huge surplus of pets that no one wants and killing them is the most inefficient and costly was of disposal. This will never cure the problem, as it only deals with the product after the production. The only right and HUMANE solution is to cut off the production at the FACTORY level. There really is room, for all of us, if managed correctly. We are not only "OUR BROTHERS KEEPER" WE ARE ALSO " OUR ANIMALS KEEPER"(Genesis: 1 26-30)

This is one of the most important things that we can do for our communities and the welfare of so many animals. We can stop the people who are not responsible for their pets and just let them have litter after litter of unwanted babies.
