A great many Americans feel that Fox News has engaged in the intentional deception and manipulation of information in order to influence the actions and behaviors of their viewers. One example is Liz Trotta's gaffe that suggested Sen. Obama should be "knock[ed] off." A second is when one their reporters suggested that Sen. Obama's "Fist Bump" was some type of terrorist body language. In the second example, the reporter is the only one to mention terrorist; the guest speaker does not make this association. These assertions and statements are unfounded and unacceptable.

We urge you to return to the standards of journalistic integrity and stop your campaigns of intentional manipulations and biased reporting. Your recent segments where Ms. Liz Trotta suggested that Sen. Obama be "knock[ed] off" and the segment with Ms. Hill suggested that Sen. Obama's "fist bump" was a terrorist gesture is unacceptable.
We believe that your news organization can play a major journalistic role in the American landscape. However, this role will require that you change your policies and live up to your tag line of "fair and balanced."

I'd say it's pretty irresponsible reporting. Not that the news today isn't already fully opinionated with the "I think", "they should", "that's crazy", et al, commentary evident in just about every TV news story, but this is just blatant fear and ignorance and clear intent on coloring the minds of its viewers.

I watched fox news exclusively over the past eight years. I was brainwashed, only during this election cycle did I come to know that I was thinking and spewing the right wing views of fox news. Up until recently I really believed George Bush was a great and courageous president as well I believed Cheney was a good and honorable guy. The threat posed by fox news is serious. Sean Hannity and the views he are propagating are downright dangerous. Fox news is a danger to our national security.

It's ironic to see "reporters" like on Fox claim they are part of a "no spin zone" when there is more spin on Fox than any other network I've seen. The only useful purpose I've found for Fox News is to see how badly a situation will be distorted, and I refuse to even check for that anymore. It's shameful and insulting to other reporters for them to call themselves that.

Until this 2008 presidential election campaign, I was under the impression that Fox News represented a legitimate news channel. I have been appalled at the manipulation and the unbridled bias demonstrated by Fox "News" coverage of different events during this election and the outright hateful commentary indulged in by its so-called "anchors." The creative alteration of video and audio by Fox "News" is so ham-handed it is laughable.

Fox News relate information as though the public viewers are unable to interpret or decipher what goes on in the world. Their tone of message CLEARLY indicates hatred by the energy and the volume demonstrated. I failed to see ANY FAIR and BALANCE in their reporting. I do NOT WATCH Fox News and encourage ANYONE who will listen to do likewise.

Over the weekend, Sean Hannity hosted a show on Fox News entitled Obama & Friends: The History of Radicalism. The invited guest was Andy Martin, who was represented as an author and credible source to expose “the real Barack Obama.” There wasn’t a hostile or adversarial word spoken by Hannity about or towards Martin. To the contrary, Martin’s claims were the basis for many of the Fox News show’s allegations against Obama. Andy Martin has a history of raging anti-semitism, bizarre behaviour in the legal system and is one of the most dangerous forces for intolerance and hatred in the USA today.

Faux "News" needs to get its act together, stop reporting celebrity gossip, passing judgment on others and live up to their "fair and balanced" banner.
This station states that they are "Fair and Balanced" which is really an insult to most people's intelligence. I assume they get paid to express some of their opinions, but I cannot believe that even they believe their biases.
Shame on them, Fox News. They are unbelievably bias, nasty, twisters of truth, it is not a news channel, it has a personal agenda all of its own. With the likes of Hannity, O'Reilly, my god.. Its sad. I pledge I will do my best to not buy anything advertised on the channel. And yes I will watch it briefly and occasionally because it scares me and I want to be aware of my enemies.
Time and time again Fox News has shown that they are a neocon organization that uses shady techniques such as neuro-linguistic programming and altered photos to manipulate the public and spread half-truths, lies and propaganda throughout society.
