Kentucky law only allow "Type E" fireworks, or fireworks that don't fly or move any at all. This law was passed in 1982, and is an old law that is outdated, and is disrespectful to law-abiding Americans.
The 4th of July is a celebration of this country's founding, and Kentucky has been interfering with that since 1982. Now is the time to end this law once and for all, when Kentucky sells advertising for Indiana fireworks, which the state claims to be illegal, the law is outdated, and is long due to be repealed.

I think that firworks are a main part of a yearly celebration to honor our independence, and if rockets dont glare and bombs burst in the air we as americans cant pay tribute.

I run a tent in Tennesse every year, and it is sad to see all that tax money going to another state. It is KY own fault thou. It is a pointless law, because ALMOST EVERYBODY just drives to another state to get there fireworks.

I'll say right now that I light these fire works, yes I break the law. But a law that isn't really even valid. I second David Hittle's opinion. This law is outdated, and long due to be repealed.

That is totally true. you see signs EVERYWHERE for phantom fireworks just across the river in jeffersonville indiana and blah blah blah. Police drive past hundreds of houses while they are shooting off mortors and even shoot them off them selves so why are they illegal. The law isn't stopping anyone. every year we car pool to indiana to buy our fireworks.
