Kentucky law only allow "Type E" fireworks, or fireworks that don't fly or move any at all. This law was passed in 1982, and is an old law that is outdated, and is disrespectful to law-abiding Americans.
The 4th of July is a celebration of this country's founding, and Kentucky has been interfering with that since 1982. Now is the time to end this law once and for all, when Kentucky sells advertising for Indiana fireworks, which the state claims to be illegal, the law is outdated, and is long due to be repealed.
