The Human Connection

Bringing about change in a world so desperate for a human touch is the core mission behindTEDxCalicoCanyon.  On January 7, 2012 in the beautiful desert sands of Nevada, in the heart of the city of Las Vegas, idea creators, innovators, and connectors come together to provide a common place, a common community to honor the Human Race.

As technology grows and brings massive shifts in the world, whether it be the economy, business, or even our personal lives the one thing future generations will be missing is it’s own identity in a world full of multiple individual identities caused by technology.

In the spirit of TED and other TEDx events, TEDxCalicoCanyon will be no different and yet it will be.  TEDxCalicoCanyon is in pursuit of The Human Connection, to bring back the story, to bring back a more human element to life and it’s 'ideas worth spreading'.

TEDxCalicoCanyon is a not-for-profit event that is totally organized by local volunteers, unpaid volunteers.
