We need to get to the bottom
from the top!

The Spare Change Coalition

Target:
The Disadvantaged
Sponsored by:
Congress won't help
The President's not interested
Corporate America's down sizing
Shelters are turning people away.

I've worked in supposed charity organizations where
a large percentage of monies received went to charity.
Yeah Right, maybe if they are lucky 10 percent!
(that percentage gives them legal acceptance)
I want to change that -that's why I want to form
The Spare Change Coalition.
The Spare Change Coalition is a pro-active funding for
the homeless as well as the abused.  Only 5% of the funds
collected will go to overhead, instead of 15-20% We are
a grass roots organization with full intentions toward the
people in need.  If we can get  to the bottom from the top
than more people can have the quality of life they deserve.
Instead of waiting for large companies to give to charities,
Spare Change asks for small contributions. One dollar out
of someone's pay check per month.  If you do the math,
one dollar times the number of Americans working, than we
would not have to depend on the Government to raise our
taxes to try to keep up with supply and demand.  People do
have to help themselves and Spare Change realizes that some
may think this to be their alternative to not having to work. But our
goal is to help an individual get housing and become stablized
by linking our services with employment service operations,
supply transportation (Bus Passes) and utilities.  Our biggest
goal is to instal a sense of pride back into the people that seem
to have lost theirs.
