In Farmingdale, Long Island, a woman lived with her husband and children in a private house. When her husband died in a car crash, the neighbors felt this young mother "went over the edge" and offered "assistance" of comfort and support. No one knows when it started, maybe it was always going on, but this woman began stealing people's pets, pets that were put up for adoption, any way she could get her hands on cats and dogs, she managed to do it and bring them to her torture house. The neighbors suspected something and people did call the ASPCA but nothing was done. Then someone made a call and they must have reached the right person. This woman's house was raided and then the digging began in her backyard. She not only ran a house of pain and suffering, she had her own private pet cemetary. People's loving pets that never came home, homeless pets that were put up for adoption, hungry animals roaming the streets. She couldn't wait to get them home and starve, beat, torture, whatever it was that made her feel good. Then she killed them, one by one. Upon raiding her home, emaciated dogs were found in dirty, foul smelling cages, and wounded and injured, terrified animals were found, not realizing how close they were to their moment of being used for this pathetically disturbed woman's gratification. There is a link that psychologists and medical professionals have made between animal abuse and serial killers of human beings. Nearly most if not all serial killers interviewed admitted they started with the same proclivity for hurting living creatures that this woman did. What is so frightening now that she has been arrested, is, that she has been let out on her own recognizance meaning that money or property were put up as collateral ensuring that she will make her next court appearance. But what guarantee is there that she won't continue hurting animals? What guarantee is there that she won't start killing people? Who knows if she already has? Just because no evidence of a homicide has been linked to her doesn't mean she hasn't killed humans. There are missing people who have never been found. Who knows what she has done? Isn't it safe to assume that anyone who can torture and kill at the level that she has taken this to, is capable of anything. Why is the money so important? The bail money or the property put up as collateral for her freedom when she has deprived who knows how many household pets and homeless animals of their freedom, not to mention food, water, medical care. She let them die in a hell that she created just for them. I don't believe that her husband's death was anything but an excuse to go full circle with her one joyful pleasure, torture. We , the undersigned, are asking the court to put this woman in a psychiatric facility, a prison, or at least in a supervised environment where her actions will be under constant supervision. It should be obvious to any judge or psychiatrist that this woman is too dangerous to be free to her own devices. How can any court with the public's interests to think about let an individual with this need level to commit the most vile and unspeakable acts of torture in the history of Suffolk County be free until her next court date? Please take her out of society until her trial.
