Throw a Symbolic Shoe at Bush and Help the Needy

Target:
George W. Bush
By signing below I confirm that I made a contribution of gently worn shoes or money to Soles4Souls both to help those in need and to symbolically throw a shoe at President Bush to demonstrate my contempt of his disgracing the office of the Presidency by, among other things: leading America into a needless war through deception; being responsible for the deaths of over 4,000 brave American service men and women and over 100,000 Iraqis; undermining the constitution by authorizing torture, illegal wiretaps, and holding people in prison indefinitely without charges or trials; destroying the environment by putting corporate interests over good science; and bankrupting the nation through excessive deregulation and tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans.

I also call on the Iraqi government to demonstrate its commitment to the rule of law by releasing unharmed journalist Mundahar al-Zaidi who threw his shoes at George W. Bush in a simple act of symbolic protest.

(Contributions of gently worn shoes or money can be made to Soles for Souls at: http://www.soles4souls.org/ways_to_help/individuals.html

Expected sentence dangeroulsy out of proportion with Al-Zaidi's show of anger against Iraq's worst wrong-doer in decades. I salute the young journalist's courage.

Not to mention the sexism, discrimination hate encourage by you, as well as the killing of millions of animals and the encouragement of killing them.. If I could throw something at you it would be a symbolic Boot, so the least you could do now is ask for al-Zaidi to be freed from their prison and tell them how you understand why he did that now… You can even use that un-true smile you always use for the public when you’re with-holding the information about all your bad deeds. It’s your fault he’s in Prison now, so please make them let him free to be with his family who also feels the same way about you. Should all people who think this way of you be arrested? Right, I knew you would answer Yes.. That’s why you made such a mess of the Nation…

You must understand the frustration of people in the US and around the world who all wish to throw a shoe at President Bush. Mr. Bush, you have brought shame to the US and pain and torment to the Iraqi people. None of us see you as any kind of valid leader or

This president should have been impeached for taking this country into war on the basis of lies 4 years ago. He is a soundrel, not much better than Hussein himself. The tragedy is that the people of this country bought his and Dick Cheeny's bag of lies and scare tactics and re-elected him for a devastating second term. As if the first one was not enough. Now we are reaping the results of his greed, stupidity and arrogance. Good Riddance!!
