FACEBOOK SECURITY MEASURES TIME FOR CHANGE!
We are here to tell fb and the 'trolls' who post contraversial and repulsive comments that we will not condone 'crossing certain lines' and that we are here to stay until facebook changes it's procedures for setting up accounts and acting more quickly on those who break facebook terms & conditions.
The facebook website is crawling with user's who's sole purpose is to 'troll' other user's by posting contraversial and repulsive comments/content in order to bait other's into an emotional response. Some of those users who choose to 'troll' have used the murder/abuse of an innocent as a stage for entertainment to fill their depraved void of humour. For example;
- Those who make comments suggesting that innocent victims deserved what they got...
- User's who attack, insult and threaten people who question their opinion.
- Member's who create 'fake' profiles to hide their true identity.
- Those who clone profiles of facebook member's who object to their opinions.
- Enablers who create groups for worthy causes in order to dupe members into joining for the sole purpose of 'trolling' them.
We are asking facebook to adopt the same procedures as websites like Ebay where you have to provide verifiable information before you can create an account, eg; an ISP email address, bank or credit card details, landline home telephone number. This would deter such mentioned members from their actions whilst also deterring online predators who's purpose is to 'groom' younger facebook members.
Please sign our petition if you believe facebook should tighten it's security in order to protect the current and future facebook members.

Hereby sign this petition because we think that facebook should adopt stricter security measures for account verification. The changes would deter many users who choose to create fake/clone profiles, trolls, fraudsters and not to mention online predators as their identity would be harder to hide.
We ask that more verifiable procedures for setting up a facebook account are put in place not only for current members but also future member's security.

Get trolls off facebook they are sick twisted individuals
i am pleased that some people actually take the time and send us these letters as i whole heartedly agree with them we need to protect our young from these paedophiles who prey on the young on line .janette rathbone
I have had my home address, phone numbers, personal details posted on the wall of GHOF a troll controlled group. All my details we stolen by trolls who hacked into my profile. I had one of the members of the group attemtp to break into my home in Chelsea. I have been abused both on FB and that trolls have carried it outside of FB as well by creating a profile of me with a photo they took from my profile and posting my home address on a revenge site. This was all done to me simply because I reported their sexaul comments under two children's photos posted in GHOF.
I have been called a sheeple for wanting to clean up Facebook and stop the harassment that goes on. "Sheeple" I think meaning those that follow causes, but then aren't trolls and add me people also "sheeple"? I may be a sheeple but I am a sheeple that will stand behind my beliefs and not cut an innocent down in doing so.

I want my family members who insist on using Facebook afforded, at the very least, the same security as other online programs of this type. This makes sense and it the decent thing to do given the common evil that is lurking in cyberland. |
i am shocked that in this day and age that we live in that facebook is allowing these sick people to cum on here and talk freely bout what they think is normally.I believe in order for these people to have less of a chance of actually doing what they talk bout so often they need to be banned from any social networking sites.

Facebook is here for us to enjoy getting in touch with old friends/family,along with the makings of new friends..It's supposed to be a place where we can have fun,and enjoy our free time just catching up with everyone! When it comes to he point where facebook seems like more of a battle ground,a breeding ground for sick people,and the majority of time,you spend it watching innocent people being attacked all around you,some saying very disturbing things in general, and others using personal attacks about the person's children ect..to get a reaction,it takes the fun out of it.WHEN YOU SEE THESE PEOPLE STEALING PICTURES OF BABY'S AND CHILDREN, AND WRITING RAPE COMMENTS AND OTHER HORRIBLE THINGS ON IT AND UPLOADING IT TO A GROUP FOR ALL TO SEE AND WRITE EVEN MORE DISTURBING THINGS ON IT,WHILE YOU SIT ON YOUR ASS AND DO NOTHING FOR THESE POOR MOTHERS AFTER COMPLAINING TIME AND AGAIN, I think it's enough!
