TIRED OF WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT SPENDING

Sick and tired of all the wasteful spending! Let's clean up our own backyard before we trudge on someone else's. At the end of this petition is a link to Citizens Against Government Waste. Please take a moment to register there to take more action.

Our tax dollars have for the longest time have helped pay for government expenditures. We help fund wars, pave roads, build bridges, and help pay the salaries of those in public offices, etc. Now it is time to do away with wasteful spending. Invest our money here in the United States of America.

Sign this petition if you agree that you have had enough. With the rising fuel prices and people losing their homes I cannot see why there should not be more than a million signatures on this petition. If we the people must watch our spending during this horrible economic disasterous time then so should the governement.

Stop taking away from our childrens' futures. Schools are cutting back on spending because they cannot fuel their busses. This is a shame. Everything that is suppose to matter doesn't. This is your government at its best and uncontrolled. If we do not speak then the big businesses will take over our government. Are you willing to sit and wait for our economy to revive itself? People, we have the power to take back our government.

If we, the people, have to watch our spending then so should the government. We, the undersigned, are demanding a solution to our weakened dollar. We need to back our money with something of value such as GOLD. When Nixon closed this window he opened a far more dangerous one. Reopen the GOLD WINDOW and let us get this economy back on its feet. Printing more paper money is not the answer. Giving the Federal Reserve more power is not the answer. Continually raising fuel taxes, heavy highway taxes, apportionments to the states, etc. is not the answer to this failing economy. We are tired of being the pocketbooks for wasteful spending and corruption. Find another way to cure this economic woe. Cut the pork out of government spending and do something about the value of our failing dollar! No more promises. We want solutions!!!!

It is so sad that we have this beautiful country and cannot even see it. When you can not even afford your monthly bills, it's time to stop and take a look at where your money is going. We have heard of other countries alot greater than America. Those who have good insurance for all citizens, pay for weddings, pay women their saleries to stay home and raise their children until school, ect... So when did America start losing it's title? When we got a greedy government that thinks they are better than us and have benefits all of us would like to have or at least see yours like ours. I'm sorry but if my husband dies I don't keep recieving his pay or insurance. In fact I lose it. All I have is what we have on our life insurance policy. And why do we send so many other countries so much money when they do nothing for us, not even back us in a war that could have been over with if they did? Why is it so hard to get our elderly taken care of properly with food and medicines when we have so many illegals that seem to have these benefits but if you were born here, worked here, paid taxes here you can't seem to get any help if you need it? Does there seem to be anything wrong with this picture? America used to be the greatest but I feel ashamed of my country the way it does it's people that has done so much for it. Our government is the laughing joke of the world! Not because of our President but because of all of our government, someone who would pay $15.00 for a bolt that I could go get at a hardware store for $.50 at a hardware store . And these people actually went to college. Just one big joke!

The government needs to start spending those tax dollars on the welfare of the people instead of war. This country is going right down the toilet along with our worthless dollar. I should start using our money as toilet paper because its value is worth the same. All these government department heads are power hungry. Stop living high on the hog and start spreading the wealth.
