To allow Saskatchewan cancer the right to surgery to remove tumors.

In Saskatchewan most doctor's do not allow patients the right to have tumors removed, because there is the possibly that the tumor will grow back. Cancer patients are pushed to use treatments such as chemotherapy.  Some patients would like the option of doing both.  Patients such as my mother would like the right to have the tumors removed and beable to have chemo.  Logically this makes sense.  If a tumor is removed and a trace amount is left, shouldn't the chemo get the rest?  My mother would like the right, she has been informed that Saskatchewan does not do this because, it could grow back.  Shouldn't cancer patients be allowed that choice? I want my mother to have the right to access any form of therapy or procedure that is out there that could help her with her fight.  Please help my mother and other patients like her have the right to choose.

Thank you so much for your support.
We the undersigned, demand that Cancer patients be given the right to having a tumor removed, despite the possibility of return.  A individual with cancer is fighting for their life, and should be given the right to choose.  Doesn't it make sense that if a tumor is removed, chemotherapy will kill any trace left?  Even a cancer patient with mutliple tumors should be given the option to surgery.  Cancer is painfull, and a person with this disease is fighting for their life, and they should be given the ability to access anything that would increase their chances of survival. Even if their chances are slim.  Nobody has the right to decide that a person has no chance of survival, because their cancer is extremely aggressive.  Each individual person is different, and if they are willing to fight, then they should be given the chance.  In cases of cancer, a doctor should allow the person to access therapy or procedure, even if the doctor believes the chances for improvement are limitied.  For a person with cancer a slim chance is better than no chance at all.  Every individual is different, cancer patiens should not be treated like statistics.
