To Get YouTube to Remove Animal Cruelty Videos
There are many, many digusting videos on YouTube showing animal cruelty. Although these videos have been flagged and commented on many, many times, YouTube refuses to remove them. These are a couple examples.

Here are two disgusting videos. I personally could not bring myself to watch them. I got the gist of them from the comments. Apparently, budgies are fed to snakes and people laugh at it.

Snakes do have to eat, but budgies are not part of their diet. Most snakes will eat already dead food anyways. A snake in the wild would eat a budgie on a very rare occasion. Actually, the budgie can injure the snake because they can bite very hard. There isn't such a thing as "feeder budgies" either. The jerks who posted these videos went as far to say the little bird "enjoyed" the experience.
There are many other videos, including guinea pigs being forced to swim, dogs being strangled and killed, dogfighting, horses tripping, and more.
There was even a disgraceful video of a snake eating a rabbit on a trampoline. The disgusting title of the video was "Snake Eats Rabbit on Trampoline - Better Version". It is still up on YouTube. In the horrid videos of snakes eating budgies, the morons who posted it were still insisting it was "cool". They claimed they would buy a baby ferret to feed to the snake. They were probably bluffing to irritate people, but it was still offensive.
YouTube is for anyone over 13...so imagine kids viewing these awful videos! This teaches them that it is "cool" and "funny" to abuse & kill animals, the way people are laughing in the videos and the way some comments say things like "Great video!" Children who abuse and kill animals grow up to do the same thing to people!
There were also two videos of children abusing a Sun Conure, during this an adult was sitting nearby. But in the end, nasty comments did the trick and the user removed this videos. YouTube was contacted many times yet they claimed the video "attracted people" and we were "a bunch of bird freaks". Another disgraceful video of a cockatoo drinking beer was also on YT, but in the end the user removed it...NOT YOUTUBE.
YouTube is also hypocritical. This is what their rules say. "Don't post videos showing bad stuff like animal abuse, drug abuse, or bomb making. Graphic or gratuitous violence is not allowed. If your video shows someone getting hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't post it."
They say that, but do they do it? No.
You see, we may not be able to get rid of all cruelty in this world. We cannot undo what has already been done. We cannot bring the innocent animals who were cruelly killed back to life. But we can do our part. If the morons who make these horrendous videos have nowhere to post them and get attention, they will hopefully stop making them. We can prevent more damage from happening.
What we also need YouTube to do is when there is a highly abusive video, they should send the person's information off to the proper authorities (depending on the country). These jerks can't get away with such horrible cruelty!
Please, we need to stop this disgusting practice! Sign the petition and STOP YOUTUBE CRUELTY!

Cruelty to animals is terrible. They should be put in a cage with a tiger.
Seems as if therapy/intervention is needed ASAP. Quite sad all the way around...AND it seems that whoever is responsible for monitoring posted content fell asleep. WAKE UP!

I think these animal cruelty videos are disgusting. Once I saw the poor little budgies being trapped in the snakes' cages, I had to close the video. My stomach wouldn't take seeing them eaten.
This is sickening. There was even a video of a snake eating a white dove. What makes these retards think budgies and doves are snake food? I hope they receive punishment.
These people are mentally retarded and should NOT be allowed to own animals!! Their mental retardation is evidenced by their lack of concern for innocent animals and their pleasure in performing the cruelty to the animals. Snakes have small brains and are not meant to be kept as pets because they are not on an emotional level with Budgies, cats, dogs, and people. Try to place a snake around your neck when the snake hasn't been fed for awhile and see if the snake is meant to be your pet or a senseless predator. You'll see the snake, although assumed to be a pet, has no sense of affection for its owner as does a dog, cat, or a Budgie or any bird raised as a pet. These people who posted this video should definitely be referred for psychiatric evaluation to keep innocent people from having to deal with the cruelty they inflict on innocent animals and probably innocent children as well.
Anyone who takes pleasure in seeing these videos, are sick and need help.
What's the point of keeping these on YOU TUBE? Take these awfull videos off! All they prove is that teenagers can still do what ever they want with no consequences. It's not funny, all your doing is making it contraversial!
I've been a regular user of YouTube till now. I assumed that you were exercising due diligence, removing offensive content. I won't be watching ANY youtube till you show some basic corporate responsibility and remove videos depicting cruelty to animals.
Please do not allow such videos to be circulated. Animals are poor defenseless creaturs that should not be abused. Don't we have enough abuse in our world already????

That kind of video is not entertainment nor does it benefit humanity. Maybe by feeding the people who made the videos to a large snake would benefit humanity.

It isn't funny to see pain in an animal so full of life and have no chance for survival. ESPECIALLY, when it is for human entertainment. I don't understand that type of human and only hope those that enjoy that sort of crap get a dose of the same agony that the bird suffered. Perhaps that is the only way that some people learn.
The moral degradation in this country is directly related to how we as a nation treat our weakest, most defenseless members, including animals. Please remove all videso that show cruelty towards animals.

This and the other similar video are SICK AND WRONG! I am a parrot rescue professional and this is cruelty to animals. Budgies are not bred for snake food, they are bred for human PLEASURE - i.e. PETS. I have saved the lives of hundreds of birds including more than 100 budgies in the last 10 years alone. This is repulsive, not just because of my rescue background, but because BUDGIES have the intelligence of a 2-3 year old toddler and do not deserve a cruel death like this! You should be ashamed of yourselves.
What is so difficult on removing such horrible videos? Why don īt you care about you web, you "admins"?!
This is a perverse abomination that requires punishment to the fullest extent possible. Each of them should have one of their hands fed to the snake while they watch.

What the heck is wrong with you, allowing this kind of animal abuse on the internet? Do you not realize that there will be copy cats repeating this kind of horror? I think You Tube should ban the animal Cruelty videos from their site because animal cruelty is wrong and it gives the younger people the idea that animal cruelty is ok.....not so!! You Tube should also ban school fights between students as well.
Anyone showing videos or allowing videos of animal cruelty to be shown that is not directly with a major afflilitation like Humane Society of the U.S., should be prosecuted in some way.
Watching one of God's creations being killed should never be considered entertainment or a good way to make money.

If people are not allowed to post animal cruelty videos then maybe there will be less animal cruelty...gosh I hope so! People that are cruel to animals deserve to be found and punished to the fullest extent.
You Tube needs to implement a way of vetting all posts. They have videos of obscene animal cruelty, rape and pornography. I have always been in favour of free speech and making knowledge available to all but making scenes of abuse and torture readily accessible ....... What is wrong with the world?
To allow these videos to remain and be shown, is fact that you approve of it. Children see this and will think it is right. Adults with bad intentions see it and think it is right. Those that put the videos on, should be investigated by the police and all agaencies such as the HSUS immediately. When a video is uploaded, it should be removed immediatley, but the link sent to the proper authroities. Do not exploit the abuse of animals for any reason, even if it means you get more attention. Is that really the attention you want?
