My son died in foster care because of neglect. My son did'nt get to experince how wonderful life is. He was not checked up on for a 11 hours. This foster mom was in her 70's and had two other young children in her home. My son died two weeks befor his second birthday. We need to change the laws with C.P.S., Children are dieing every year in this system. I am not saying we don't need them, but they are taking unabused children away from there familys.I don't want another child going under looked, like my poor son Craig.Please sigh this petition to make a differnce. Also look for the petiton to have "October 22 Victims of Child Welfare Memorial Day." Change all the laws and redo them them

I am a grandmother and can't see the children because I protected them, I thought, with DCS away from abusive parents. I agree c.p.s is suppose to protect children , not take them away from parents some who are good and some who are bad. c.p.s makes alot of mistakes, too many because they affect kids and babies lives. i grew up in foster care and i was abuse more by foster parents then my mom. this has got to stop. the foster parent should been charged with murder and the state should be held responsable just the same. it makes me sick to my stomach how america turns a blind eye to this and i also think people are not aware of the things that go on in foster care. i sent 14 years in foster care and i could tell you some stories. does any one care though.
