To the NFL: Help Pitt Bulls while Punishing Michael Vick!

As many people know with the Michael Vick case, the NFL has said they are going to revoke Vick's sign on bonuses due to the illegal activity during that time.  What a lot of people don't realize is that due to the public hysteria and misconception, many Pitt Bull Rescue Organizations have had their funding cut, or lost a significant amount of donations which are neccessary to run such an operation.  I feel that the NFL should revoke Vick's bonuses and then redistribute them to Pitt Bull Rescue Organizations across the US, as well as use some of it for POSITIVE Pitt Bull Propoganda and education.  Pitt Bulls are dogs that Humans created to do a specific job.  Traits such as loyalty, protectiveness, and fearlessness are traits we cherish in breeds such as Labs and German Shepherd, but Pitt Bulls are feared for the very same traits.

The people out there trying to rehabilitate mistreated Pitts and their behavioral problems are now being punished due to the publicity of the Michael Vick case.  And these are the people who should not be punished, but rewarded for all their efforts and heartache they bear on a daily basis.  Please help.

We the undersigned believe that the NFL, while having no active part in the Michael Vick case, have the ability to make lemonade out of lemons.  We feel that Michael Vick's revoked sign-on bonuses should be redistributed into the community by way of donations to various Pitt Bull Rescue Organizations all over America, as well as create some positive propoganda for Pitt Bulls and general education.  We understand that the NFL is not responsible for Vick's actions, however we feel that the NFL can help to write a wrong in this matter.
