The bipartisan legislative panel in Alaska concluded that Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper. Urge Palin to step down now. An official with a record of lies and abuse of power shouldn't be part of a presidential ticket.
In a desperate attempt to spin this mess, Palin is now claiming that the Troopergate investigation clears her of any wrongdoing, which it does not. The Branchflower (Troopergate) report found that she violated Alaska's Executive Branch Ethics Law in firing Public Safety Commisioner Walter Monegan to settle a family vendetta. Palin fired Monegan because he refused to succumb to Palin's and her husband's requests to sack Mike Wooten, a state trooper who was involved in a bitter divorce battle with her sister.
Palin argues she had the authority to fire Monegan, but she can't deny she misused her authority to advance a personal agenda.
During her acceptance speech at the Republican convention, Sarah Palin said: "I came to office promising major ethics reform, to end the culture of self-dealing. And today, that ethics reform is the law." But she failed to mention she violated the very same law she helped to enact.
We can't afford eight more years of another administration that abuses their power. If Palin bullied a law-enforcement officer out of his job for personal reasons as Governor, it is terrifying to think of what she would be capable of doing as Vice President. Tell Palin to stop the lies and walk the ethics reform talk by removing herself from the presidential ticket now.

The bipartisan legislative panel in Alaska concluded that you unlawfully abused your power as governor by trying to have your former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper. An official with a record of lies and abuse of power shouldn't be part of a presidential ticket. Put your country first and do the right thing by stepping down now.
You recently said the Troopergate investigation clears you of any wrongdoing, but it does not. The Branchflower (Troopergate) report found that you violated Alaska's Executive Branch Ethics Law in firing Public Safety Commisioner Walter Monegan to settle a family vendetta.
And yes, you had the authority to fire Monegan, but you can't deny you misused your authority to advance a personal agenda.

Sarah Palin is a corrupt unethical hypocrite! She should stay home and take care of her family. She is only out to help the big greedy oil companies get more profit and to advance her own personal greed. What good is being "pro-life" if she is destroying the enviroment and the planet for future generations? Someone like her should not hold public office. She is too arrogant to step down so the people will have to make sure she never gets into office again!

Palin, you are an evil corrupt person. The American people are not fooled by your hypocracy. Anyone who would promote such sadistic cruelty towards animals has no place being a governor. Alaska is part of America, not your own private place where you can do whatever you want. You need to be removed from the governors office and go back to being a hockey mom, you incompetent moron.

Her husband and her are part of the Alaskan Independence Party. They are terrorists of the WORST KIND!!
She has NO EDUCATION other than survival instincts and talks in circles are stay on her stump speeches.
Palin has NO CLUE what a vice president does. She is a LIAR. Her husband has NO BUSINESS involved in
Government issues. She hired contributors and friends to her governors team. She continues to say she will work as a TEAMMATE with McCain and that she is IN CHARGE OF THE SENATE.Her religion and relationship with a witch hunter minister. I can't believe Alaska elected a "pretty face" with no experience.
She will stab you in the back first chance she gets look what she's starting to do to McCain

Someone with as little experience, intellect, and concern for human, animal, and environmental rights should have never been offered the VP position in the first place. But since she was offered the position for whatever reason, she should have turned it down. The fact that she didn't turn it down proves she does not have the country's interests at heart, but rather her own power hungry interests in mind.

She is not worthy calling herself a Christian,a governor, and definitly not a Vice President. She has no moral compass and is a disgrace to the United States. She's not all that bright either and I really prefer our nation's leaders to be intelligent, and its been 8 years since we have had that.

Palin is unethical and her character is tarnished. If she can abuse her power on a local government level, what's to say that she won't do more of the same IF she is VP?

She presents herself as an ethics reformer and a maverick, but firing someone to resolve a family feud and lying about it is not very presidential.
