Fran Lyon is due to give birth on January 3rd, 2008.  However, she may never even be able to hold her newborn daughter, because social services want to take her away at birth.  Fran has not done anything to deserve this.  The reason her baby is going to be taken from her is because she was in and out of psychiatric hospitals for a few years after being raped.  Fran has recovered from this, and deserves a chance to raise her own child.  To read the full story, please visit http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/femail/article.html?in_article_id=480201&in_page_id=1879
Fran Lyon has a right to raise her own child.  She has shown no signs of violence towards others and does not deserve this fate.  There are children out there being raised by incapable young teenagers, drug addicts, and several others who are far less fit to raise a baby than Fran.  She at least deserves a chance.  If there is concern about her prior mental illnesses, they why not have Children's Services check up on Fran and her daughter, instead of taking such drastic and unfair measures?
