Different wildlife organizations hold donations and petitions to stop sharks from becoming  critically endangered, even though, fining carries on. It is incredibly hard to stop the public from  visiting shark fin soup retailers, but if we can find a way to close down shops, or protest, maybe we can cease shark finning. Urge these organizations to help us create even more awareness when it comes to shark fining, so we can actually cease this gruesome practice.
Dear [Organization].

We, the undersigned, would like to cease the horrible practice of shark fining. The practice of shark fining is to remove a captured sharks fins, no matter whether it is alive or dead, and then dump it back into to the sea. For sharks alive during the whole process, it is excruciating, and when they are dumped back into the water they suffocate because they cannot move, therefore, they cannot breathe.
Sharks are incredibly important for the ecosystem. They make sure species do not overpopulate or under populate, therefore keeping a balance. Without these apex predators, important parts of the ocean like corals could be eaten by algae, or phytoplankton, a reason we have air to breathe, could disappear.
We need sharks to survive, but every year 73 million sharks are killed, and on top of that 95 % of shark species have decimated. Please help us take a stand, and cease the act of shark fining. Protests of certain shops in Hong Kong, the largest shark fin exporter, like Shark fin city or shop in Singapore need to cease sale of shark fins.
On Google, when you type in %u201CHong Kong shark fin soup restaurant%u2019%u2019 you receive 130,000 results, mostly of different restaurants. Let%u2019s put this practice to an end.

Sincerely,
The undersigned
