This petition is for the immediate intervention and removal of all horses transferred from Mustang Hearts Horse Sanctuary to Orphan Acres in Viola, Idaho, on the promise that the horses would be well cared for.
The Mustang Hearts horses are documented BY OFFICIALS and pictured in starving and suffering condition, on April 22, 2009.

Orphan Acres states it is a horse rescue yet it has been observed having stallions and mares exposed to each other. Orphan Acres has demonstrated, through the condition of these horses (shown to be at, or near starvation on April 22, 2009) that it is incapable of seeing to the horses' humane care. BY SIGNING THIS PETITION I am requesting ISDA and HSUS to conduct an immediate intervention and removal of these starving and rapidly failing horses.

Failure to remove the horses to where they can receive proper humane care, should be considered an act of cruelty to these horses, by all who fail to act humanely on their behalf.
Prior to the transfer of these horses to Orphan Acres, these horses were closely documented to be of good weight and health, by many of the sponsors that supported them. Some are special needs horses and they are not getting the care they were used to getting and are deteriorating rapidly.
