Utrish dolphinarium have been grabbed

This spring the Moscow branch of Utrish dolphinarium was illegally seized by some company or thieves, to put it openly. I don't know for sure how it happened, but the fact is that the experts, who had been working with sea mammals for years, were fired. The stuff, hired by the new proprietor, turned out to be absolutely inefficient. These people make the dolphins starve in order to make them do the tricks.

One of the dolphins has already died! (Though, some sources say that two dolphins have died, but I'm sure only about one.) Other dolphins look exhausted and ill. Some of them have sores and scabs.

We can't say what's going on there right now! But one thing is clear: if it continues like that we will hear about new deaths. I think everyone of us understands the importance of stopping this extreme violence!

Signing this pettion you agree with the fact of cruel treatment of dolphins from the side of "new Utrish dolphinarium proprietors" and agree that the establishment should be returned to the former owners and violence should be stopped.

25.06.2009 I have got some update!
Why was the old crew fired? They did not agree to take part in the performances put on by the new team. But they still wanted to work with the animals and to take care of them. Nevertheless new "proprietor" did not accept these conditions. At present the specialists are not allowed to see the animals. The dolphinarium is "surrounded" with cameras with no "blind zones".

Odnako fakt ostajotsja faktom - oni ne kormjat del'finov, chtoby zastavit' del'finov rabotat' s novymi hozjaevami.

Na tekuwij moment odin del'fin uzhe umer. Hotja, nekotorye istochniki soobwajut, chto umerlo dva del'fina, odnako mne izvestno o smerti lish' odnogo. Drugie del'finy istoweny. U nekotoryh na kozhe pojavilis' boljachki.

Ja bojus' predpolozhit', chto tvoritsja v del'finarii prjamo sejchas! Esli tak budet prodolzhat'sja i dalee, to my uslyshim o novyh del'fin'ih smertjah. Ja polagaju, chto kazhdyj osoznajot neobhodimost' ostanovit' jetot bespredel!
