Vancouver Dog Park Petition

Dear Dog Owners,
Our little and big pet creatures are in desperate need of a dog park in the downtown Vancouver area where owners can let dogs run free and play without a leash.

Real Facts
- There are about 50,000 dogs in Vancouver. That is 1 park for 1,428 dogs!
- There are no off-leash dog parks in the area.
- The City of Vancouver is estimated to pocket at least $647,000 in dog licences per year. Not counting the fines ($250).

The dog park should have a fence with double-gated entry, water fountains, benches, trees/shaded areas, waste-bag dispensers, trash cans, and be handicap accessible.

Let's take action and ask the City to provide us with our own neighbourhood dog park.

Please spread the word out and sign the online petition today.
