Waki report: Join in the fight against the culture of impunity

Target:
Kenyans for Peace, Truth and Justice
Sponsored by:
If the political class strategy of denial, disparage and diverting public attention manages to kill the implementation of Waki the report, this will heighten public distrust for Kenya's criminal justice system and reinforce the culture of political impunity. We must resist vigorously the grand impunity of the political class and our government. Support full implementation of Waki report by signing this petition and forwarding this petition link to your friends.

Let the planners and implentors of the post election violence face justice, repent and they will be free.He who abuses or inflicts injury or kills a human being, does this first to himself and then to God.If the human law punishes them and they repent this is to their advantage for God will forgive them if no justice from the human law, Gods perfect law of justice will take effect and they will suffer for eons and the counrty will suffer with them. so the country should act now to this evade repercussions.

A time has come for Kenya to deal with its culture of impunity or risk going down a road of repeated cycles of violence, as state security shifts from the hands of Government's security apparatus to the people in the form of vigilante groups, spontaneous and planned militia and private armies. The time to act is NOW!

Impunity delays the course of events. it denies justice, is immoral, is exploitataive, retards development, is short sighted by those who practise it and if we don't stop it, naturally it will destroy itself. It will take time and is usually very painful when in self destructive mode. By signing to stop it we are for sure being sympathetic to ourselves and to those who practise it. Kenyans we have a duty bestowed on us by nature or by God our creator to safeguard ourselves against injustice. We have to stand up firm not just in words but in all else be it tears, pain, blood and or sacrifices in phyiscal harm. Count me in on this.

I am a graduate student who with a lot of potential with a desire to make a positive impact inkenya. I have worked in several organizations and i believe the governments stand on some issues affects the common man negatively. Under-employment, high taxes to serve the elite in government with big cars, the slow response to real issues like piped water and repairs, Mau issue gragging on, i mean, my first taxablesalary was so little since the government took the chunk and i hear Mps want a raise to be eligible to pay tax? No! We cant have it lets do this people.

it's only Kenya that strange stuff happen. our political class has shown us that whoever gets into the august house morphs into a nondescript apathetic human. look at them all from Margaret Wanjiru to Raila to jirongo....the list is endless. Not one of them speaks about the sorry state of affairs in the country. so my dear brothers and sisters it's OPERATION FAGIA 2012, we need a clean representation.

I am in total support of the total implementation the Waki Commission. Kenyans have seen many Commissions whose work have been a total waste of taxpayers money. Let it be clear to our Leaders that this commission was not formed at their wish as before. This commission was forced down the throat by angry kenyans and many lives were lost in the process. More than ever before many Kenyans are are prepared to die to make sure there is no fooling about in building a democratic Kenya. Days are gone when Kenyan leaders took Kenyans for aride. We are already aware that for change to come especially in Kenya, a fight has to prevail and many are prepared for this as was evidennced in the last general elections the underlying factor in this war is that thousands of Kenyans lives were paid to warrant this Commission and there is no way Kenyans will allow it to go down the drain like many others. For leaders, it is act or be acted upon.

for kenya to move forward i wish we could educate the masses to stop woshipping their tribal kings and let us move forward as a family (kenya). when a kamba leader steals public funds he/she never shares such loots with even the immediate poor neighbour. kenya belongs to us all (the poor and the rich). down with the culture of impunity. on s further note i wish we could start looking for leadership among ourselves and not among the tribal kings currently leading this great nation. we have mati, githongo, maina kiai, prof makau mutua, plo lumumba and many more clean sons of this motherland to think of and not uhuru, kalonzo, raila, saitoti or ruto who have so far lost sight of our future road to prosperity.
