The citizens of the state of Florida demand Govenor Christ to enforce the
287g program thoughout the state.
With the current federal administration turning their backs on the American people, the state of Florida must take the "illegal" immigration issue into it's own hands.
The signatures on this petition are the direct result of concerned VOTERS, TAX PAYERS and CITIZENS of the state of Florida.
The 287g guidelines are as follows:Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) was made law in 1996 as a result of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA). Section 287(g) authorizes the Secretary of Homeland Security to enter into agreements with state and local law enforcement agencies, permitting designated officers to perform immigration law enforcement functions, pursuant to a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), provided that the local law enforcement officers receive appropriate training and function under the supervision of sworn U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. Under 287(g), ICE provides state and local law enforcement with the training and subsequent authorization to identify, process, and when appropriate, detain immigration offenders they encounter during their regular, daily law-enforcement activity.

I am a citizen of the US and a resident of North Carolina. I tried a silent protest by NOT paying state or federal taxes for a number of years to see what would happen. I had people around me as employees of my company and fellow employees of companies I worked for file 7-9 dependents on the W-4's or filed EXEMPT, have green cards and illegal social security numbers and HAVE NOT paid ANY taxes yet get food stamps and free medical care. What did it get me??? State of NC has collected $11,500 on an original tax liability of $7500.00 and the still want $7,000 more!! My IRS debt has been more than doubled to over $60,000!! I have NO WAY of getting my life back yet I see non-english speaking illegal aliens living better than I am!

When I turn on the TV an hear the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, and FOX News allowing the advocates of illegal immigration to make unchallenged lies and distortations as though they’re facts, that begs the question. With all the research resources at their finger tips, why do they let this miss-information stand as though it’s solid facts? Every TV producer has at his or her disposal the un adulterated facts of illegal immigration! So, why do they allow miss-information to stand as facts? These networks have become the facilitators, the vehicle used to peddle these lies, distortions of facts, and the truth. And they are part of the problem! And frankly I’m fed up with this foolishness. I just cringe in my seat when I hear these unchallenged lies and distortations stated as facts by advocates of illegal immigration. If you listen closely to them you’ll hear their lies and distortations used as their positions on illegal immigration. They make claims that insinuate what’s wrong is right, and what’s right is wrong. They state rhetoric for research, and they state their opinions for facts. But when you examine the facts you’ll see that they’ve built a case for illegal immigration on distortations of the truth, misrepresentation of facts, and out right demanding RIGHTS that are not afforded to an ILLEGAL CLASS OF PEOPLE! As an American, I am disgusted w/the government allowing or should I say encouraging these people to come into our country ILLEGALLY.
