.. There could not have been a worse choice for Bella. Bella is very pale and very thin and very fragile. Kirsten was athletic..she was bigger than rob. But thats not even important. She is a HORRIBLE actress.. a lot of people say she was "ok"..but really?..i mean seriously?..watch the movie carefully paying attention to her acting. She is horrible. she gave bella absolutely NO personality..she wasn't likeable..and we all know bella has A LOT of personality..she's funny..and sweet.. and fiesty..and likeable.. kirsten stuart didn't bring her to life AT ALL.. she killed her. I mean, look at Rob's acting..he was great!..now he's playing salvador dali..he's so amazing.. but kirsten stuart..she's nothing...i can't count how many actresses would have been a much better choice.. i knew the movie would suck thanks to stuart and still i stook my ass outside the theatre at midnight to watch it.. but bella has to be recasted!

Bella is so relatable thats why people love her but i personaly didn't feel like i could relate to Kirsten at all. Her preformance was so flat, her mouth was half way open through most of the film, and she was constantly twitching and blinking. (Especially the scene where she talks to edward for the first time.) I also can't stand watching her interviews not only because she acts like she doesn't know anything about the movie, but how many times do we have to talk about the amazing chemistry between kirsten and rob when there obviously isn't any. I seriously can't beleive that people are so infatuated with the books that ther willing to over look the bad acting.

Awful casting of Bella, I'm afraid. Her performance was totally wooden, particularly in the hospital near the end of the movie, when Edward said she should leave him for her own good. She was supposed to be panicking but to me it just seemed like she couldn't remember her lines. There was no emotion in her performance whatsoever. Bella is hopelessly, painfully in love with Edward but Kristen Stewart couldn't even manage to look slightly interested. Stay away from the romantic movies, girl!

The Twilight Saga movies could be SO inspirational. Stephenie Meyer showcases so many good human qualities in her story: undying love, loyalty, hope, trying to be good, committment, acceptance, tolerance, kindness, good friends, good family, good beats evil... I'm glad to know there are others who think Bella has been miscast. It's been driving me crazy. The hardest part for me is that two movies have been ruined by this miscasting BUT THERE ARE TWO MORE MOVIES TO GO! What a shame! This totally reminds me of "Bewitched" with Nicole Kidman and how the casting of Wil Ferrell TOTALLY ruined that movie. Kirsten is good at pretending physical pain - (see "Panic Room") - unfortunately, that appears to be the extent of her talent(?) Is she even NICE? It doesn't look like it in interviews, etc. Bella IS nice. And she is kind, loving, giving, non-judgmental... She is NOT a bitch. But that's how Kirsten plays her. Cold-hearted bitch. How can they continue to use an actress who can't even pretend to love Edward????? (Are you kidding??????) The other actors are working so hard to do it right. What a damn shame. I was so hoping that with the second movie and a new director that the director would help Kirsten BE Bella. Already from just the first trailer Kirsten looks at Robert (Edward) like she's so impatient, and superior to him. DAMN! Even so, I don't hate her of course. I just hope that someone will wake up and recast Bella. (sigh)

I watched the movie with my son and daughter, but my first thought was what lousy actors. The best part for me was the scenery. I will not pay to see any more of these movies until they get a new actress to play bella. I'll watch it when it gets on tv for free, because she is not worst paying to go see. I absolutely agree!!! KS is the worst actor i have seen and i don't think she brings any part of Bella's character to life. I can't wait to see who they cast as the next one (if there is a next one), i can pretty much guarantee that she will be 100% better.

I don't hate hate Kristen; but enough is enough. Her ungratefulness for the film franchise that has clearly made her popular is so annoying. She is a good actress no doubt but she is NOT Bella.
