This is a petition to show all the channels that we are still here and we are still devoted to Blood Ties. It has been almost a year since Deep Dark left us in a state of limbo. We at least need closure.

Based on the novels by Tanya Huff, Blood Ties revolves around PI Vicki Nelson - formerly a detective with the Metropolitan Toronto Police. She was losing her sight, but quit the force rather than accept a desk job. However, her last case turns out to be a doozy, involving vampires and the supernatural. She decides to team up with a vampire named Henry and ex-lover Mike Celluci to battle the forces of evil both normal and paranormal.

This petition will be sent to every cable and sattelite station, both U.S. and Canadian that I can reach. Surely there is a station that will realize that the word of mouth has spread since Blood Ties pitiful treatment by LifeTime. The station wasn't right for it, the time slot was horrible, and the advertising was scarce.

Anyone interested in the series need only type in Blood Ties TV Series to find over 16,500,000 sites. Fanfiction, YouTube Video's and blog enteries prove what a dedicated fanbase this show has.

Please someone somewhere commission a new series of Blood Ties. I cannot recall the last time I saw a show with such brilliant script-writing, fantastic acting and cinematography. The dynamics between the characters is superb and, with the vampire topic being top of the ratings at the moment, this series could run and run with spin-offs, merchandising etc and make some company with the sense to invest, a whole heap of money!

This is an amazing show with so much potential. Had Lifetime chose to stand behind it and and throw the money at it like they do Army Wives, Blood Ties would have also been a huge hit for them. The fan base for this show continues to grow, and we do deserve better than what we were left with. Even if it's for just one more season or a direct to DVD movie, it would be nice to have a definite ending instead of the ending we were given.

Exactly what it is that�s making it so hard for any US network to pick up Blood Ties? The writing, acting and production have all been nominated for awards, so I don�t see how it could be the show itself. I�m quite sure it never had a huge budget and made the best use it could of the money it had to work with, so it can�t be a cost issue. It's running or has run in at least 8 or 10 countries around the world, so audience appeal can�t be the hold up.

Many people love this show and many people have not heard of it. It was not given the right publicity and advertisement it desirves. This show was Buffy times two, but not given the right chance to prove it. I am extremely mad about this and I will never watch lifetime again. So many people want it to come back. If you want more viewers you have to listen to their oppinions and not ignore them. There seems to be no good shows left. It is wrong to have a show this perfect, and take it away. It is the best show on television (or at least it was). I am extremely dissapointed and pissed off.
