Tell Insight Cable to reinstate Channel 71!
Insight Cable customers were misled by its commercials telling us that if we had Insight cable, our programming would not change with regard to the digital switchover.
Our local weather channel, Weather Tracker (Channel 71), has disappeared and now Insight wants consumers to subscribe to its digital cable service at an additional cost in order to regain access to this channel.
Instead of continuing to provide basic cable consumers with Weather Tracker, Insight points us to The Weather Channel (Channel 30) as a substitute. However, The Weather Channel has its own programming as well as commercial interruptions. It also offers little in the way of local weather.
Sign this petition and help us tell Insight to give Weather Tracker back to basic cable subscribers at no additional cost!
We the undersigned request that Insight Cable reinstate Channel 71 (Weather Tracker) for basic cable subscribers at no additional cost.
As Insight subscribers, we feel misled by Insight commercials that led us to believe that any Insight cable subscriber would not experience such changes with regard to the digital switchover.
Asking consumers to expend additional money to receive a channel that they had previously received for free is unacceptable.
We ask that you respect our wishes as loyal consumers of your services.
