It seems the McCain ticket will use any distraction against Obama. I am for displaying truth in politics no matter the country. If someone runs for office of any kind they should be trustworthy, dedicated and have no ill will against the competition. The campaign really should only be about real issues of the country and who could actually do the best job over the next 4 years. It seems like Obama is the man for the job.

But the public needs to know everything it can find out about this man, "Joe, the not quite licensed plumber." I don't think he's any relation to McCain, however McCain used him and now the guy should really be angry because McCain didn't protect him after he used him to try to make a mockery of Obama..."BACKFIRED" - McCain is not stupid and nows that fact checking is a reality...so should JOe the Plumber who is not a registered plumber...he can work on McCain's 7 houses, but I've had enough problem with contractors yet alone an unlicensed one....And if the guy wants to pay less taxes he should vote for Obama-although I agree its better to pay none....

Firstly, I'm sorry about the "don't display my name" bit. I have to be careful to stay under the radar of an ex-stalker. Secondly, I strongly feel since John McCain made "Joe the Plumber" a centerpoint of the debate, the American public deserves to know if the man is genuine or not. If he isn't who Mr. McCain says he is, we need to know before casting our votes for/against the candidate who claims to empathize and want to help "Joe".

If you think Joe the Plumber was a set-up by the McCain campaign, I've often wondered if the people in Sarah Palin's audience were not Obama plants to make the Republicans seem as hateful and mean-spirited as most Democrats can be. If a Republican gave some of the slanderous, vicious remarks as were given about Sarah Palin, you can bet that the Democrats would have a fit over it. When remarks are said about Obama, they are not full of hatred. They are actually things that should be examined more closely with an open mind. They are not said with a hateful and malicious attitude. I challenge you to pay close attention to the attitude behind what is said and by what side. If you listen to celebrities, they are so full of hatred. You have to pay attention to whom those hateful people are backing. This should not be a campaign of anger. It should be a campaign of facts.
