It is a sad fact that it is this way...neighbors barely talk to one another. You open a door for someone at a store, how many times are you even thanked? I do not buy into this "rushing here and there" that people can not have the manners to be polite to each other. In traffic even, you wave some one in, and some times you get the finger, for what? doing a nice thing by letting that person into your lane? It is heartbreaking.

This happens to me all the time! I am naturally a kind, friendly person, and every time I see someone in my neighborhood I smile or wave. But most of the time these people completely ignore me and/or act like they didn't see me, and even worse they shoot me a dirty look! Try being nicer everyone and the world would be a much better place!
