You are killing the used car industry that us POOR people use to get by. Why waste our hard earned tax dollars on this crap? People getting these loans for new cars are not thinking about the long run and most likely get these new cars reposessed and really hurt the economy, man you really "think" when you put out new plans out there...good way to throw away our tax dollars uhh...instead of auctioning these old "clunkers" and donating the money to any charity, you decide to crush the cars...lol...funny!!!!

again, congress and obama give tax dollars to those with money while ignoring those without. In Iraq a man turned an old 70s car into electric by putting in 20-26 batteries. then entire thing cost 2,500 dollars (a lot cheaper than giving 4500 to middle class people and then scrapping the cars. Our poor need cheap cars, this drives them out of the market for old cars but no cheap or free public transportation is available and to be truthful many need those cars for someplace to live.
