Wisconsin will kill me because I had to fight for my life!

We the undersigned We believe that Wisconsin laws to euthanize all dogs whose owner was convicted on cruelty or fighting charges are unjust and harsh.   We petition that all dogs who are brought into MADACC or other shelters, pounds, or other control facilities across Wisconsin, due to the owner forcing them to defend their life by fighting, a chance at finding foster/adoptive homes post-trial.  We respectfully demand that all dogs pending court cases are recognized as not just property but living creatures who need to be walked daily, not just watered and fed.  We demand that court case dogs are not simply evidence to be discarded post-trial.  We believe post-trial court case dogs should be judged according to their behavior alone, and humanely euthanized only if they are truly vicious towards humans only, or injured beyond reasonable care.   Dogs who are vicious towards other dogs were trained to be that way, and should be given a chance at finding an "only dog" home.  We hereby demand in the interest of justice and on the behalf of the People of the State of Wisconsin, that Wisconsin court case dogs are given a second chance!
Dear Governor Walker, Wisconsin State Assembly, and Senators of Wisconsin,

Thank you very much for taking the time to read our letter, and thank you for your leadership in the State of Wisconsin.

We the undersigned We believe that Wisconsin laws to euthanize all dogs whose owner was convicted on cruelty or fighting charges are unjust and harsh.

We urgently petition the Milwaukee dogs to be given immediate consideration of the above.

Chicago has a successful court case dog program and we, the People of Wisconsin, petition that our legislators learn more about this successful program and institute best practices and humane treatment for court case dogs across Wisconsin via legislation.
