It was a pleasure to flip the dial to 90.1 and find a source for information on yoga in the Houston area. I just moved to town, and was looking for information on the yoga community in the Houston area. It looks like I have found it. Thanks for the help, and I look forward to hearing more from ya'll in the future.

Yoga has been a significant practice for me since the mid 70s. I study it for spiritual, psychological, and physical purposes. Unfortunately, in today's markets, many pursue yoga as if it were no different than a 1980s aerobic class. As I have aged, it has become very difficult to find teachers with the sensitivity and undertanding to honor each student's level and appreciate the deeper levels of conciousness offered by thoughtful yoga. I have had some amazing experiences in yoga over the years. A regular discussion of yoga theory should be part of KPFT programming. The program can serve as a resource to thougtful yoga practitioners in the area. Please add yoga for peace to KPFT programming.

I can't imagine anything more beneficial and wonderful than to hear messages of spirituality that embrace mankind as a whole and do not shatter its unity with messages of various religions

Yoga for Peace has been both inspirational and informative in my study and practice of yoga. It applies in some way to everyone's life, and it's sad that KPFT listeners (who would so enjoy and benefit from it) do not have regular access to Yoga for Peace programming.

The program is important not only to yoga teachers since it promotes yoga programs, but also in educating the general population about yoga. As a teacher, I can tell you there's great interest in understanding the different styles, philosophies, etc and Yoga for Peace sheds some light on these issues.

Yoga for Peace helps people find ways to keep their inner peace. In times like these, it is super critical that people have this avenue as most people do not know how or where to look for this. Inner peace and strength is the need of the hour and Yoga for Peace helps us with that.

I support this cause for peace by peacefull means and Yoga For Peace organization stands to transform people both inside and out by promoting an ancient well developed science for both mind and body. When an individual is at peace can he or she can influence and transform the community. Hence this needs to be promoted with live events where there is realtime interaction with the listeners.
