Stop Ruthless Student Loan Practices!

Francisco Reynoso was very proud of his son Freddy when he was the first in their family to go to college. But when Freddy was tragically killed in a car accident, his grief was compounded by the ruthless harassment from his son’s student loan providers who said they didn’t care that Freddy was dead. They just wanted their money. This heartless greed must be stopped with the passage of Bill H.R. 2028!

Like countless American’s struggling in a stark economy, Francisco cannot afford to pay for the loans. In addition, banks are constantly selling student loans or turning them into securities, making it a nightmare to even find out exactly who owns a loan!

However, a lifeline is available in the form of Congressional Bill H.R. 2028. The passage of H.R. 2028 will allow American’s to declare bankruptcy for private student loans they have no hope of being able to pay.

Please sign this petition telling the House Judiciary Committee to pass H.R. 2028!

Attn: House Judiciary Committee

The American economy is a long way from a full recovery and a college education should not put our citizens into debt they cannot possibly overcome!

Please pass H.R. 2028 and help American's who have no hope of being able to repay private students loans by allowing them to declare Bankruptcy.

Sincerely,
