Demand the Tasmanian Government Saves the Forests

The world-famous forests of Tasmania continue to be threatened by the Tasmanian Government, according to a report on abc.net.au. The Government recently announced plans to allow logging in 356,000 hectares of land otherwise protected under a moratorium until 2020.

However, timber workers are on the side of the forests, and say it's a political stunt by the Government to grab votes.

Timber workers argue that most retailers in Australia will not buy any timber from the protected areas. For example, a massive Australian hardware chain said it would not be stocking timber sourced from the contentious forests.

The forests of Tasmania are worth more saved! Will you join me in demanding the Tasmanian Government halts any plans to re-open forests for logging that have been protected, including the 356,000 hectares of land otherwise protected under a moratorium until 2020.
