Montgomery County Soccer Court
Hello everyone, I've created this petition to show community support for a concrete soccer court with lights that we can play on year-round. We are all used to playing on tennis courts but how about actually having a net and appropriate lines? If you enjoy playing soccer in Montgomery County and would appreciate a soccer court then please sign this petition! Feel free to invite others to sign. The more support we have, the better!

Thanks to everyone’s support, our vision of bringing free, open futsal courts to Montgomery County is almost here! We need your virtual support again! The county has proposed three plans for a revamp of Columbia Local Park in Silver Spring/Burtonsville - WE WANT OPTION 3!! Follow the link below and please vote for OPTION 3!! Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and shared your support! The meeting earlier this month was very well-received by the Montgomery County Recreation and Parks Advisory Board with numerous board members expressing their appreciation and support of the need for a futsal court. As a first step towards action, the Deputy Director of Operations met with the Park Planning and Stewardship Division and shared my presentation.
I plan to attend the next meeting to get an update on progress!
