NO CHILD SHOULD WITNESS BRUTAL KILLING OF STRAY ANIMALS !

Action Malta! Respect for Animals today participated in the debate with Maltese EU Commissioner for Health Dr Tonio Borg . A petition and a Document supporting the Project Making a Link and Occupy for Animals was presented.

Action Malta is calling the EU to wake up to the psychological damage done to the mental health if children witnessing the violence on animals in Eastern & Southern European countries. 

To ensure that this issue is given the important it deserves...Action Malta entrusted Dr Tonio Borg to use his position as Commissioner of Health to gather the full support of the EU to make sure that Children s Rights as stated in the Treaty of Lisbon Art 13 is safeguarded. 

The children in all European Countries have a right to live their daily lives without witnessing violence against animals in the streets.
