Please Help Hanako the 61 year old Elephant!!!
Hanako the 61 year old Elephant has been kept ALONE in a zoo in Japan since age 2. She NEEDS to have the company of other elephants. Her current situation of 61 years of solitude is TORTUROUS!!! We should be ASHAMED and have to push for her situation to improve. How? Sign this petition to either move her to an Elephant Sanctuary or bring elepant companions to her.
Hanako the 61 year old or older Elephant has been kept by herself ALONE in a solitary zoo enclosure in a nice neighbourhood in Japan since age 2. But it's EMOTIONALLY and MENTALLY DEAD FOR HER! She rocks back & forth not because she's dancing. but because she is She NEEDS to have the company of other elephants. Her current situation of 61 years (or more) of solitude is TORTUROUS!!!
