Please help stop the open range shooting of the wild Mustangs, these beauitful wild and free spirited horses were here before we were and they have a right to live, with out being shot down just because they are wild. and stop the capture of these horses so they can't be abused by their owners and die under their hands

February 3, 2010 As an American citizen, I demand that the Law of Protection passed by Congress in 1971 be obeyed by the BLM and the Forest Service. I issue a CEASE and DESIST ORDER to these aforementioned government agencies who are flagrantly ignoring the law and who are killing, destroying, slaughtering, dispersing and disseminating the American Wild Horse population with the intent to ZERO OUT said American Wild Horse in order to graze cattle.

We are intelligent, rational, empathetic and capabable of expanding our minds to enormous capacities yet such narrow minded thinking is prevalent in our society. Understading extremes and things in excess are part of everyday sayings but then vanish from everyday thinking and application. Not only are mustangs a part of American history they don't even come any where close to being associated as a danger to humans or our resources so any argument in favor of killing these animals is absurd and down right ignorant. It shouldn't take a blockbuster movie or a breaking news story to know this is wrong, it should take common sense.

In 2003 We traveled to Las Vegas and took a ride out to red rock canyon. I was humbled and amazed to feel witness a part of our American history when we saw wild mustangs grazing within site of the road. we weren't expecting it. then I told everyone about the mustangs and when we went back to Las Vegas in 2005 to Marry, they were gone. In 2008 only fences could be seen and a few burros. How sad. I feel a loss

Our entire country was created with horses.He wants to give people money to dig up dinosaurs but he wants to kill one of the only living dinosaurs we have. I have lived around and owned many horses in my day and my little mustang is by far the funest, horse to work with. He has saved me from many situations that would have turned out bad, but overall they are an american history that he wants to kill........ make him stop ......!!!!!

Mustangs are the most loyal horse breed you can find if you can befriend them. I've worked personally with a mustang and could never find a sweeter horse. They deserve a chance and no one is willing to give it.
