Fear Has No Place in Schools

There has been 122 students, teachers, and staff killed in mass school shootings since the Columbine High School shooting in 1999.

Recently on February 14th 2018, the 3rd deadliest school shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school, leaving 17 dead. Many videos of students screaming and crying for their lives while their was open fire in their school were released.

After seeing and hearing about the horror these schools are facing, there is a huge fear in attending school now at all ages. Everyone is searching for a finite answer to put an end to these inhuman killings at schools.

Will gun control really stop killers from killing? Will metal detectors prevent a shooter from trying to shoot? Truthfully, security systems fail and rules are broken.

The only thing we can do is come together. We need to be here for each other as one. We can't rely on law makers to fix this because then we never know when they will put an end to it. We can make a difference now. We need to all be here for for each other because you never know what someone is going through and you can make a difference in their life.

Help stop the tragedies in schools and come together as one and bring awareness to school violence. Please sign the petition and promise to come together to create a safe haven in school.
