Stop Killing Arctic Foxes

The arctic fox is one of the most unique animals on the face of the earth, yet they are still being killed for their fur. The fur of the arctic fox is very beautiful, but only when it is worn by the animal itself.
Arctic foxes are highly intelligent and quite often kept as pets, they can in fact be just as tame as dogs in a second generation litter. To put it in perspective, most of us find it horrorable that people are killing dogs for their fur and meat in some countries - simply cause the dog is so dear to us. Foxes are just as dear too many people, even when we admire them from a distance and not as a pet.
The arctic fox is indeed facing termination from plant earth and there are
two arctic fox populations that are endangered:
The first barely exists in Russia and it has been reduced to aproximately 90 arctic foxes because of a mange caused by ear ticks introduced by dogs.
The second is found in Fennoscandia; Norway, Sweden, Finland and Kola Peninsula. Excessive hunting around the turn of the century has reduced arctic foxes in these areas to the total number of only 140 breeding pairs.
Arctic foxes are among the most unique and intelligent animals on Earth, they do not deserve to end up as an ornament worn by rich people. Arctic foxes are in fact endangered and will some day be wiped of the face of our planet if the killing continues - don't let that happen. Thank you for listening.
