Ban wild animal captivity in Greece!

The demise of Misa, a bear which was born in captivity in a zoo and never lived in the wild, was the occasion to bring back our disapproval of wild animal living and reproduction in captivity.

We would like to:
put an end to wild animal captivity in illegal zoos

and to support the appeal of "Arcturos" to transfer the bears and the wolves of the zoo in Thessaloniki to the facilities of ARCTUROS’ sanctuaries.

It is an appeal that ARCTUROS has been submitting to the Municipality of Thessaloniki since 1995.
