City ordered Maryland church to evict homeless people or pay $12,000 fine

Patapsco United Methodist Church in Baltimore area has been cited for a $12,000 fine for allowing homeless people to sleep on their property.

The Church allows a few homeless people to sleep out back because they have nowhere else to go and it's the Christian thing to do. Now the congregation has to decide between allowing them to stay and paying $12,000 or making them leave, even though they don't see that as the Christian thing to do.

The congregation does not have a lot of money and it is wrong of the city to force this one them.

Please sign this petition to ask the city to drop the citation and allow these Christians to do the Christian thing and allow homeless people to have a place to sleep.
