This petition is for anyone affected by the newly opened runways at O'Hare International Airport. Issues of great concern are noise and vibration caused by low flying aircraft and the frequency in which they fly. In some cases planes are flying over every 1-1.5 minutes apart non stop within a 24 hour period. As a result of O'hare's changes the general well-being, health and overall quality of life for thousands of residents has been greatly affected. Finally, the property values of homes will become an overall issue for most residents which could potentially result in financial ruin if equity can not be retrieved due to all of the noted problems. We demand an explanation and plan of action to alleviate noise, vibration, pollution health and property value declination.
