Let's begin to celebrate All Hallows' Day/All Saints' Day in the UK to remember our dearly departed loved ones

Our lives now have become so fast-paced, technology and the digital revolution have replaced so much of our traditions and customs that family life just isn't what it used to be. So I feel it is even more important to maintain and strengthen what connects us as humans. Our festivals and celebrations are a time of community cohesion, as well as a time for families to come together to remember their loved ones, past and present. So whilst looking up the true meaning of Halloween (thank you Wikipedia!)I was surprised by what I read. I have always felt that the Mexican festival, The Day of the Dead, seemed like such a special, important and interesting celebration to have and now I find out that we have a Christian All Saints' Day on 1st November, but we just don't really talk about it or celebrate it! I think this would be a good idea. That is all!
