Dear president Donald Tusk,
I have taken the liberty to send you this petition.
We all ask you to put animal welfare before religion. Forbid the slaughter of animals without stunning, because it is cruel, mean en inhuman in every way.
The Amsterdam Convention from 1997 & 1999 already stated that animals are beings with feelings and must be protected as such. Cutting the throat of fully conscious animals is horribly cruel and extremely painful (as proven by veterinarians) and no longer human in the 21st century. Man has evolved and has knowledge to slaughter animals humanely and painlessly. No God demands the killing of his creatures in such horrible barbaric way, so no religion can ask for that.
Stop the encores to Muslims and Jews to mistreat animals horribly. Just be human: do not do to another living creature what you do not want to undergo yourself. They are being with feelings of pain, fear, stress... stop this barbaric and prehistoric massacres of animals for consumption: it is not longer of this time, it is not necessary and it is unbelievable cruel and inhuman.
State and religion should be separate, and animal welfare should come before religion: now and forever. That is human, so please: give animals your voice: speak for them they can not speak for themselves: save them from being killed in excruciating pain. All Europeans, without exception, must obey the same laws.
Thank you for the attention and hopefully you will speak out for the animals and protect them with laws against any form of abuse. Stop those horrific slaughters!

Do not stop signing, do not close your eyes, help others to sign too: We need laws to protect animals against these barbaric rituals. Look at the picture: the agony, the panic, the fear is written in the eyes, no more slaughtering this way, it is inhuman. HELP STOP THIS WORLDWIDE PLEASE !! Animals need our voice and help, they can not do anything without us, stand up for them, do it now. Every day and every killing this way is one to many! No God asks that ! No way !

Still animals are being slaughtered without sedation in the most horrific painful way you can imagine, only to not "offend" religious people: Muslims, Jews... So a prehistoric, barbaric and cruel ritual stands above animal welfare? Humanity does not count? God stands for kindness, he does not allow atrocities against animals (and humans). Ministers: stop being afraid for the reactions of religious people: but act in the name of the animals and stop their needless suffering!
