HERE IS THE UPDATE I RECEIVED TODAY 2/12:

Animals play an important role in our lives. Companion animals fill our world with joy, friendship, and devotion, while animals in the wild inspire us with their natural beauty. You can honor an animal that holds a special place in your heart. Give a voice to those who suffer silently in the name of science. Speak on behalf of animals exploited for entertainment. Show how your community works together to promote respect for animals. Demonstrate how to extend seasons’ greetings to all creatures.

Show us what compassion for animals looks like to you.

Consider addressing topics such as humane education; proper care of companion animals; the use of animals in biomedical research and product testing; passing and enforcing animal protection laws; and concern for endangered species. Your artistic talents can inform, inspire and help spread compassion for animals!
