BAN THE MISUSE OF GOD’S NAME ON CABLE TV

God’s name is used constantly as a phrase on tv. We do not allow cussing on cable tv but we allow the misuse of His name. I am truly offended when someone on tv says God’s name because they want to express something. God is His name it is not a word. I am offended just like people are when they hear the “f” word or any other cuss word. It clearly tells us in Exodus not to misuse His name. This petition says I am to tell why I am concerned so here is why I am concerned. Kids are growing up hearing this phrase “ oh my God “ , they are growing up thinking that God is a word and not knowing He is the Creator. They are growing up not knowing who God is or that they are misusing His name. If we don’t stop the misuse of God’s name it won’t be too long before the future generations will think God is only a word. I would like to get a ban on cable tv from allowing the misuse of His name being said just as they ban offensive language. I would like to know that when our children hear God on tv they know that someone is either talking to Him or talking about Him. They will know that God is not a word it is the name of our Almighty God, the Father, and the Creator. If enough people would sign this petition maybe we can get the networks to be forced to ban it from tv
