I don't believe I have ever seen a less disciplined team take the field in any sport. Look at the number of penalties and sacks as just two indicators, this team has a lot of talent but management and coaches are failing to use that talent in a productive manner.

McCarthy and Thompson just don't have the horsepower. Despite the beating A-Rod took in 2008 and the related penalties on the O-line to try to protect him, they did nothing to shore up the line even though the Pack was well under the cap. 2009 has been a revisit to those days. Maybe they should hire Holmgren to be a VP a la Parcells in Miami and find a good coach and GM. And D-Coordinator -- Capers' 3-4 is a flop. I mean, Kampman as a linebacker? He couldn't keep up with some of the coaches much less NFL rb's and receivers.

The writing has been on the wall for two years. It's pretty obvious the players are not responding to the coach anymore. That shows in the lack of discipline. Ted Thompson is turning this organization into a laughing stock. I agree you can use the draft somewhat to rebuild your team but not entirely. That's why the offensive line is garbage. Where are any kind of playmakers on the D-line? Get rid of TT & MM. Bring in Gruden or Cowher as a coach and find somebody willing to be active but smart in the free agent market as a G.M.

I have been a Packers fan for 30 years (my parents were die-hard Packer fans since the '60s during the Bart Starr era...my youngest brother is even named Bart in honor of Starr!). I would love nothing more than to see these three stooges booted from the organization PERMANENTLY so that the Packers can, in the words of Mike McCarthy, "move forward." I've been a Packer fan all of my life. Born in 1973, I was not around to see the glory years of the 60's, but I still remained loyal thru the 80's. Then the mid 90's and early 2000's came and my loyalty paid off. I wish I could say that now the Packers are just going thru another rebuilding time, but their is just too much talent on the field. The problem is the leadership. They need a coach who can build up the morale of this team. They need a GM who is more interested in what the fans and the players want. I will ALWAYS be a Packers fan. Can someone please find a coach and a GM that are as big of Packer Fans as we are!!!!!
