Building the Mexico Canal

East to West Coast travel in the United States takes 5,200 miles when using the Panama Canal. Although it is better than the previous 13,000 mile journey around Cape Cod, I believe there is still room for improvement. Creating a Mexico Canal would not only lower the distance taken to travel from coast to coast, but the extra water needed to fill the canal would lower the current sea level. The water needed to fill up the canal can reverse the damaging effects that the rising sea level has had on modern civilization. Do your part to help our planet. Mexico Canal 2020.
