Those who suffer from these terrible diseases and those who know people that suffer spread the word and get this petition out there! Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis is an on going battle everyday by those who fight it, and can lead to people being disabled and also lead people to suffer from adhesions, which is better known as scar tissue which truly disables many people out there. Yet it is not seen as a disability and sufferers cannot receive disability benefit.. i believe that changes need to be made for ibd sufferes to be included so that we can keep fighting and pay for travel costs to hospital appointments, special dieted foods, clothes, sheets and day to day things such as toiletries. Many sufferers cannot walk with or without surgery due to the pain and the weakness and it is not fair that we cannot recieve a benefit that includes us!!
I am a sufferer of Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis and know the impacts and struggles that comes hand in hand. Some days i can't get out of bed, other days i can barely eat due to the pain. The endless trips to the toilet for hours in agony, occasionally fainting due to how sore it is. I have so many friends who have these illnesses and know that financially it is really difficult too! It needs to be noted that Inflammatory Bowel Disease's are no laughing matter and it disables us in so many ways, for those who have similar symptoms donot be embarrassed! get it checked out and save your life from pain.. the longer you leave it untreated the wore it will become!
