Torture of Minority Patients by California Department of Corrections.

I worked in a Torture Center where 86 cells hold Black and Hispanic captives in sensory deprivation. Drugged, sick and in pain, nurses prevent death only to prolong torment, some actively participating in abuse. Numbers of minorities suffering preventable deaths during “treatments” may exceed legal executions nationwide.

Disguised as a Mental Health Ward at California Mens Colony State Prison, it’s a dungeon. Naked, all dignity and possessions removed. Suffering 24 hrs. a day with no exercise, yard privileges or sunlight, disease, psychological damage, and deaths result.

In Desert Storm I treated Torture victims from the Gulf States and Africa. Now America. Torture techniques used are designed to break enemy forces and avoid the Geneva Convention. They leave no marks. Many are so degrading I have left them out.

Isolation- is considered worse than beatings, rapes and starvation by sufferers like kidnap victim Amanda Knight. In 1829, Quakers used it to force salvation. Than as now, mass insanity and deaths resulted. The UN calls it Torture, medical research agrees.

Mind Altering Drugs- causing hallucinations, psychosis and suicide are distributed, thousands of doses kept in open, uncounted bins. Russia poisons it’s political prisoners too. Changes in brain chemistry result, some permanent.

Stripping victim- of all clothing, bedding and privacy is practiced in China, N. Korea, and CDCR. Females than verbally abuse the naked men, an Abu Ghraib technique. Merciless and immune to reports of patient and staff abuse alike, it goes on for hours.

Substandard Care- Baseline needs (Maslow’s Hierarchy) are not met. Patients respond to compassionate, professional care. Sadistic Ritual Abuse has value to White Supremacists and Sadists, but no medical, psychological or rehabilitative use. Without beds, call bells, or human contact, racism and suffering replace modern medicine.

Agony- is constant. Along with cement beds and temperature extremes, a Chemical Weapon, Military Capsicum, has replaced the rack. Attacking neural receptors, patients experience being burnt alive. It damages lungs, eyes and can be fatal. Naked patients genitals and anuses are attacked, cries of “I can’t breathe” and “I give up” ignored. Massive volumes turn cells opaque, the air poisonous, an execution method similar to Hitler’s, whose SS Officers are still being hunted down worldwide.

Coating the patient with oil, than a fine power irritant, a screaming horror jokingly called a “powered donut” is created. No cleaning of the unit is done, all patients are exposed and fans used for further mass punishment, the power airborne. Patients have only toilet water for decontamination, an ineffective, unsanitary, degrading policy.


Ignoring abuse reports- is vital to a secret dungeon. RN’s are punished, intimidation includes giving murderers, like Theodore Leleaux, addresses, data on children and SS#’s, data in State Personell Files. Told to do violence, motives like “His wife hates blacks” are provided, with one RN’s wife suffering permanent injuries. Racist Hate letters circulate widely, some signed, spreading fear and job loss. This concentrates the number of racist and sociopathic staff, especially supervisors. A “Code of Silence” is enforced, and graduate nurses learn not to report abuse.

Lindsay Hayes, of the National Center on Institutions and Alternatives, was commissioned by the State. He found CDCR’s practices increased deaths. Stripped, with no possessions, held in small cells and sleeping on cement floors CDCR’s treatment “punitive” and “anti-therapeutic.” Guards, not Medical Professionals, controlled the conditions within the cells. Worse, he noted that CDCR employees sometimes falsified watch logs.

One alert RN saved a group of abandoned patients, preventing deaths. The abuser, RN A, than falsified watch logs. She claimed her absence shouldn't have been seen, falsely accusing the alert RN of “sleeping”. He lost job and pension, RN A continued work as usual. Immune to the “zero tolerance policy” she also withheld Life Saving Equipment from a black man in respiratory arrest and many other such acts.

RN B, with a similar documented history of abuse, was seen accessing a drug locker off duty. Later she entered a drug abuse program. She needed immediate help but was allowed to continue caring for patients, including the distribution of drugs.

Supervisors let RN’s A and B use computers to find data to intimidate reporting RN’s. My Confidential Abuse Report was removed from the MD’s mail. The Director of Nursing and Custody Officers cooperated in the coverup. When caregivers can’t report abuse, patients can be harmed or killed with impunity, raciest abuse open-ended.

After my report CDCR spent $30,000,000 on a new “treatment” facility at California Mens Colony run by the same folks, some promoted. We could have done quality care at the old one if not for them. Supported by Billions in tax dollars, CDCR may be running many such “treatment” facilities throughout the State, harming thousands.

Why put minority patients there? Diseases thrive, suicide is endemic. Many told of being framed by Law Enforcement. It didn’t sound possible but One Officer, involved in Hate Letters, puncturing Pilipino's tires and concealing criminal acts, has 30 years as a Records Expert. Racism may have tainted thousands, isolation and brain damage hindering victims legal attempts to find justice. A Sociopaths wet dream.

Like Hitler’s “treatment solutions”, nurses must not cooperate. As a nation, it tears us apart, as a State, it wastes Billions and will eventually come to light. As Ferguson shows, raciest Law Enforcement is no longer a welcome standard in America.

CDCR staff demonstrate qualities (often called footprints) common to sociopaths, like inflicting severe physical and psychological pain, kidnaping, racism, and clever deceptions. A trail of injuries and deaths with no obvious perpetrator. Charles Manson would approve.

Isolation removes the victims voice, screams unheard, surrender no option. Sociopaths love tormenting helpless captives, a euphoric, sexual need escalating over time. Racists profess to torment only minorities. At CDCR both have a safe playground.

Some victims are my fellow veterans and, innocent or not, all need rescue.

On 01/22/2009 President Obama’s Executive Order 13491 banned Torture. He said it violates Core American Values and “under my administration the United States does not torture”. This agrees with UN and International Law that, so far, is ignored.

Many professionals report the abuse, like Dr. Everett Allen. In April 2014, fallowing weeks of graphic court testimony and chilling videos of inmates writhing in pain, a Federal Judge found use of force against mentally ill inmates in California prisons to be unconstitutionally harsh, confirming my our observations. Citing “horrific” videos and a wealth of other evidence (my letter perhaps?) U.S. District Judge Lawrence K. Karlton ordered state officials to continue revising the use-of-force procedures deployed against the state’s 33,000 mentally ill prisoners and limit the use of solitary confinement as a means of discipline.

Mass insertion of feeding tubes, similar to painful rape, is now in use. Emmeline Pankhurst wrote: “Holloway (Prison) became a place of horror and torment. Sickening scenes of violence took place almost every hour of the day, as the doctors went from cell to cell performing their hideous office. I shall never while I live forget the suffering I experienced during the days when those cries were ringing in my ears.”

Kemp Yarborough’s death by pepper spray, is a murder investigation. This rare glimmer of justice has not yet reached CDCR. Death under Torture is never “suicide”. Evidence, like Joseph Duran’s body, is destroyed but the truth is plain.

Mass Torture of minorities is a Crime Against Humanity that no RN should participate in. Ca. taxpayers should not be financing it, those covering it up prosecuted. Despite the California Board of Nurses ignoring the Nurse Practice Act, and intensive retaliation, my attempt to report patient abuse continues, an RN’s duty.
